Class Descriptions:
Choir: 3rd-5th
Join our elementary choir class, where young voices come together in harmony! Students will explore the joy of singing through fun vocal exercises, learning catchy songs, and building confidence in their musical abilities. There will be a performance for parents during class on the last day of the session. Taught by Ms. Leavitt.
Running Club: K-5th
Have fun with friends while you develop good exercise habits and enjoy the spring weather. Taught by Mr. Koch and Mr. Morando.
True Martial Arts: K-5th
Returning for their 29th year at Audubon Elementary! Emphasis is put on discipline, respect, and learning realistic self-defense. Students develop self-confidence by setting goals, striving for excellence and accomplishing what they set out to do. Students will improve posture and coordination and acquire skills they never thought possible, unlocking their own potential and giving them a positive outlook that can last a lifetime. No martial arts experience is necessary to join the program.
Grand Knights Chess Academy: K-5th
Our curriculum consists of five progressive levels, blending lesson time with problem-solving focused on class themes. We emphasize building healthy habits from the start to ensure students master the fundamentals as they advance.
Sit & Kit: K-5th
Join Sit and Kit and unleash Your Child’s Creativity with Our Art Classes! Inspire and nurture your young artist with a variety of engaging and educational art classes using Watercolors, Paint, Paper Mache, Clay and more.
3D Design and 3D Printing: K-5th
In this fun, hands-on class, students in grades 3-5 will discover the magic of 3D printing! The group will use easy-to-learn tools like 3D printing pens and printers to bring their ideas to life. Students will start with similar projects before exploring more advanced coding through Scratch while creating both artistic and engineering projects. This class is all about creativity, learning, and having fun while exploring the world of 3D design!
Robotics: 1st-5th
In this interactive, hands-on class, students in grades 1-5 will dive into the exciting world of robotics and AI! Using smart robots that can see, move, and express emotions, the group will learn real coding logic to solve puzzles and navigate mazes. This class combines creativity with critical thinking, teaching kids how to make robots "think" while having a blast!
