What is PTSA?

Audubon Elementary PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) is an All-Volunteer Non-Profit Organization which provides community, enrichment, and supplemental funding to our school. We are affiliated with the Lake Washington PTSA Council, which represents all of the PTAs in the Lake Washington School District, and the Washington State PTA (WSPTA), which advocates for the education, health, welfare, and safety of all children in Washington State.

About the Washington State PTA

Founded in 1905, the Washington Congress of Parents and Teachers, now known as the Washington State Parent Teacher Association (WSPTA), is the largest non-profit, volunteer organization in Washington. As the premier parent organization, with more than 125,000 members in more than 875 local PTAs, the association is an innovative, forward-thinking and effective advocate for children.

Our Mission

Audubon PTSA works to improve the education, safety, welfare and health of the children in our community. We work with our community and in partnership with Audubon Elementary to develop programs, projects and activities to enrich students' academic and social experiences.
