Volunteering with Audubon PTSA
Volunteering takes many roles in Audubon PTSA! No matter how much a commitment you can make, your contributions are valuable and add to the strength of the Audubon Community. We encourage every family to get involved, however they can.
There are three main categories of volunteers. Members of the PTSA Executive Board are elected volunteers (called officers) who have oversight and accountability for the PTSA's programs and budget. Chairs and committees are the workhorses of the many PTSA programs, but there are many opportunities for big and small commitments. If you are interested in running an event, helping out behind the scenes, or endorsing a new program, look into our many chair opportunities or join as a committee member. Finally, our general volunteers are those who can only commit to an hour or so here or there for specific one-time programs.

Chairs and Committees
Chairs are a designated volunteer that will work with the support of a board member for a specific project or goal. Some chairs are representatives of Audubon PTSA at larger Council initiatives, some run a specific event or program, and some lead special committees. Other Volunteering Opportunities
When adults volunteer, all students benefit. There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved in the classroom, at events, and behind the scenes. Your help is needed!
